Big Kitchen and ZOO

Went with the fam to one of Katie's and mine favorite place to have breakfast, The Big Kitchen in south park just across from the Zoo. Then it was over for some fun at the Zoo. NOW THAT'S A BIG HAND :)

Katie and I picked up John from school and hung out with him at our house for a bit before taking him home. He asks his mom if he can go to Katie's house all the time but when he get's here he plays with all my stuff :) (he should want to go to Jason's house--- you know mommie the place with all the cool stuff) But no.. Apparently me and all my things live at Katie's house. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, John always says "an Icon" like Eric Clapton. Boy loves his blues. I'll get him straight and on some SRV. :)

Flash-N-Twins Chillin

Spent today learning some basics to flash animations. I needed something to work with so I used tom's twins. Oh how fast they grow up :) hahahah

Tomorrow starts Katie's last semester at SDSU!!! In may she will be a graduate!! So tonight she made me print out ALL her course syllabus(s). We were so happy we remembered to pick up staples the other day (we have been out forever) but when I started printing things out we found that we are out of black ink! No problem I just changed all her text to blue :)

Today is a good day. Obama got sworn in and bush got kicked out. I thought the day would never come. I've been watching my Obama countdown app on the IPhone and been counting down the days. And now it's here!!! I missed the pic for yesterday so I'm putting up a few today to make up for it.

How long do you think it will take before spell check recognizes Obama as a properly spelled word??

I Miss Katie

So for about the last week this is all I have seen of Katie. She has locked herself in our room so she can listen to her Twilight books and I know better than to go in there. (Thanks Amy)

More Caching Jan 17

Went caching up in Orange County today. We rode our bikes 15 miles and picked up 85 caches (In geek speak that's a hell of a lot). We started at 9:00 am and finished around 6:30. riding a bike that long made my butt hurt but it was a lot of fun (insert hurt butt + lot of fun joke here)

Got a web cam today!! (Just now in fact) and I can hardly type right now as this is the funnest thing ever!! here is tom and I talking while I continue to work on the site. So many fun toys this week :)

After an all day all out attack on whiskeysound.com I got to get out of the house to relax a bit. Got to listen to some good music at Winston's with my brother Keith. I guess he looks like a dealer, he was asked for crack twice. No one asked me.. Not sure how i feel about that...

I just got Adobe CS4 and all the cool web design tools I will ever need!!! :) So it looks like I'll be geeking out and giving whiskeysound.com a face lift.... If i can ever figure this software out.

Jan 11 A little late

Went geocaching around Mission Bay today with my mom, dad and Katie. We had a good time riding our bikes around the bay and stopping now and again to find some cache. But the day didn't start off all that great. I woke up this morning with a sty on my right eye that made me look like Quasimodo with my eye swollen shut. Then, just as we get to the bay and start unloading the cars we hear this loud POP!! like a firecracker going off. One of the bike tires burst and we hadn't even touched the bikes yet. No problem we got a spare and started fixing the tire, then just as we are done pumping up the new tire POP!! AGAIN!! and not just the inner tube this time, THE WHOLE TIRE!! and now with no spare. Thankfully my mom was on her way to meet us and she brought a new tire and tube and we got the bikes fixed. From there on the day was great, we had a nice ride around the bay and had fun finding some cache.

Wedding day Photo

So Katie and I have picked a date for the wedding (or more like are stuck with the one we got, apparently one year notice is not enough for some venues). So we got our date... Can you guess what it is?..... come on guess..... I'll give you a hint (see pic) -------That's right!!! Friday the 13th of November. I told Katie it was a good thing, I'll never forget our anniversary. --She ain't buying it. :)

Day 2!! I'm on a roll

With only 11 months till our wedding Katie and I decided to start watching what we eat (and drink). We both started dieting on Monday and have done good so far. We cleaned out all the junk that is usually in our house and replaced everything with their less tasty cousins. Bye Bye CoCoPuffs, hello Kashi, Tootaloo pasta, sup spaghetti squash.

Jan 7 2009. I placed some geocaches around San Diego today (yes I'm a dork). and here is a pic from one of the sites i put a cache today. It's the San Diego glider port in La Jolla. The view is amazing from up here and there were some people taking off when I was there (you'll never get me to jump off a cliff like that). One down 364 more to go :)
